I want to be on the sea and sail! But first, the boat needs some love and care, and to be craned on the water.

Elvira spent the long winter on land, under the tarpaulin. Now comes the time for the maintenance and to make some possible improvements. For a lot of it, I'm no idea of what to do or how it is done. So I'll be asking around, checking videos and hoping for the best. Bear in mind, Elvira is my first boat and this is my first winter maintenance.

After the quick trip for the guard duty, I've not moved in the boat for “good”, or at least for the foreseeable future. Elvira is still on land, but I'm starting to work on her.
